Here I am sitting in my office...
Thinking hard about life
How it changed from a Fun college life to strict professional life......

How tiny pocket money changed to huge monthly paychecks
but then why it gives lesss happiness....

How a few local denim jeans changed to new branded wardrobe
but then why there are less people to use them

How a single plate of samosa changed to a full Pizza or burger
But then why there is less hunger.....

Here i am sitting in my office.....
Thinking hard about life
How it changed.......


How a limited prepaid card changed to postpaid package
but then why are there less contacts to call on......


How a old assembled desktop changed to new branded laptop
but then why there is less time to put it on......


How a small bunch of friends changed to lots of connections & office mates
But then why we always feel lonely n miss those college/skool frndz....

My father, Prof. Ramzan Shahid, takes you on a ride into the life of the torch bearer of Punjabi Language Movement & Resistance. If there are Punjabi departments in PU, GC and other colleges and universities, or if you can opt for the subject of Punjabi for Intermediate, it is just because of the efforts of Shaqat Tanvir Mirza (aka STM). Shafqat Tanvir Mirza was born on February 6, 1932 at Domeli, district Jhelum. STM the most vocal advocate of Punjabi language in Pakistan. He was awarded the Presidential Award for Pride of Performance in 2005. His weekly columns ‘Punjabi Themes’ and ‘Punjabi Books’ in Dawn, were the most forceful voices for the defense and promotion of the Punjabi language.
